Welcome to Plotbloop! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Plotbloop mobile application (the "App"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent account
- Children under 18 may only use Plotbloop through a parent account
- By creating child profiles, you confirm you are the parent or legal guardian
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Supervising your children's use of the App
- Ensuring information you provide is accurate
What Plotbloop Provides
- A collaborative storytelling platform for children and families
- AI-generated story content and illustrations based on user choices
- Age-appropriate content filtering
- Private story storage and optional sharing
Content Ownership
- Your content: You retain rights to the choices and inputs you provide
- Generated stories: Stories created using our AI are provided for your personal, non-commercial use
- Our service: Plotbloop owns the App, its features, and underlying technology
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Plotbloop only for its intended purpose: creating and enjoying stories with your family.
Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Attempt to bypass age-appropriate content filters
- Use the App to generate inappropriate, harmful, or illegal content
- Share account credentials with others
- Use automated tools or bots to access the App
- Reverse engineer, copy, or modify the App
- Use the App for any commercial purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm others through the service
- Misrepresent your identity or relationship to a child
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without notice.
AI-Generated Content
Nature of AI Content
- Stories and illustrations are generated by artificial intelligence
- AI content may occasionally be unexpected, imperfect, or require regeneration
- We apply safety filters but cannot guarantee AI output will always meet your expectations
No Guarantees: AI-generated content is provided "as is." We do not guarantee stories will be suitable for all audiences despite age filters. Parents should review content with younger children.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
- AI-generated content will meet your specific expectations
- All content will be appropriate for your child despite our filters
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLOTBLOOP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR CONTENT.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS (IF ANY).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Plotbloop from any claims arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.
Termination
- You may delete your account at any time through the App
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
- Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
